Pens Win 3-2 Over Predators on Saturday
The Pens beat the Nashville Predators 3-2 in overtime Saturday night at PPG Paints Arena. Rickard Rakell tied the game, finishing a Sidney Crosby feed with a one-timer, and Ville Koivunen ended it in overtime with the winning goal. It’s Pittsburgh’s second straight win after Thursday’s 4-0 shutout of Florida. Next up, the Penguins host the Utah Mammoth on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Pitt Loses Big To #1 Miami
Pitt was blown out on Saturday as #1 Miami dominated throughout the game. Star receiver Malachi Toney set a Miami school-record with 16 catches. Also, Miami's QB Darian Mensah had 387 yards passing and four touchdowns. Miami beat Pitt, 52-23 in Miami.
